Acquired Structure Test Burn: Fognail use on attic fires

In 2018, Poudre Fire Authority and Laramie County Fire District #2 tested attic fires and fog nails. This is the video showing the results of an acquired structure burn performed to demonstrate the effectiveness and use of the Fognail.

FEMA works in collaboration with the whole community to provide training in support of the NIMS Training Program. The Preparedness Branch coordinates EMI’s NIMS training efforts with the National Integration Center (NIC) to integrate NIMS doctrine and training with whole community needs.

Blue Card Command

The Incident Command Certification Program is designed to first instruct, train and then evaluate and certify Fire Dept. Officers who serve in the role of Incident Commander that supervise and manage emergency and hazard zone operations for every day, local NIMS Type 4 and Type 5 events.
